APAS welcomes the “2022 Policy Address” by our Chief Executive Mr John Lee of various key impetus to promote the Innovation and Technology Development in Hong Kong, including promote commercialisation of R&D outcomes, to enlarge the I&T talent pool, to develop Hong Kong into a smart city, and to proactively integrate into the overall development of the country.
APAS also welcomes government's promotion of green transport and smart mobility including to conduct trials of hydrogen fuel cell electric double-deckers and heavy vehicles, formulating the long-term strategies for the application of hydrogen energy in road transport, introduce more electric buses electric taxis, improving the Traffic Data Analytics System and pilot schemes such as the trial of autonomous vehicles within 2024.
Looking ahead, APAS will continue to cooperate with and promote the development of Innovation and Technology, including the recent R&D projects on hydrogen fuel cell technology, the robots mobile charger for EV and etc. APAS will try our best to build a smart Hong Kong.
